happy birthday jen!

My friend Jen turned 30 this week and had a fabulous 80's party.
I was certain Molly Ringwald was going to walk around the corner any minute. Though she couldn't make it, here are a few who did.

Janalynne & her hubby

Some people I don't know

Another person I don't know

After seeing many great 80's outfits, I have a strong desire to obtain more paraphernalia . Wish I was more dressed up. I love everything about that era, especially the music!
Jen & Katie

Our story:
Met during 1997 cheer tryouts at SUU in Cedar City. Go T-Birds! I think we first talked at the drinking fountain, and "maturely" discussed how we were making the bold move to college-life alone, and didn't have roommates yet-what were we thinking!? We quickly made a life-changing decision to be roommies. I was only 17, and thought I had figured out love and life by then. I was wrong. And I was right.

Happy 30th Jen!
Thanks for...
~moving to Cedar, even though your cell phone didn't work there
~staying up until 2:30am nearly every night during our freshman year
~late night trips to maverick for essentials (chocolate licorice & french bread)
~experiencing your 1st time to Wal-Mart with me
~having a near-death-experience on our drive home in Nora
~dancing, dancing, dancing
~the memories!

I love the 80's! It looks like a fun party. I also love Bryn's little statements... a modest gorilla! LOL

I love dressing 80's! Sounds like a fun party. I'm totally going themed when I turn 30. I'm still deciding between an 80's party and a 30's party.... tough decisions.

One of my greatest memories in college was dressing up for an
80's dance. I went with Sally Johnson from the basketball team. So I think that you are completely awesome and of course you look like hot stuff. By the way...your family picture is awesome. You guys are seriously a beautiful family.
