I want to take this opportunity to publicly and formally apologize to the dryer. For years I have accused it of being responsible for all the missing socks. I am fully aware that I was wrong, and I'm mature enough to admit it.
Recently I discovered where the missing socks went, and who I have to blame. They were in-between the crib and the wall, stashed away by a boy named Lukas. Though this child may look innocent, he is not, he is a sock hoarder.
Sock Hoarder Definition:
to collect and store, often secretly, a large quantity of socks
If you happen to be missing a sock, let me know and I will see if it too is behind Luke's crib.
Again, my apologizes for wrongfully accusing the dryer.

at least it was just socks......could have been much worse....he he he!
Lukas - that little rascal!
Glad you found them! :)
I am currently missing a pink and orange argyle sock (grey foot, about mid-calf high), and a cream-colored knee-high. Let me know if you have any luck.
He has learned to collect socks from his parents. You teach by example and he's picking up on it well.
Your blog makes me think happy thoughts. Just thought I'd tell ya! Thanks for the entertainment!
Oh goodness, he's such an adorable little man! So sweet.
Clicked over from Laura's blog... used to be in your ward... I love your funny posts...just didn't want to be an "absent" blog reader, so I thought I'd leave a comment.
That is fantastic, this post pleases me very much!!
Lukas...too smart for his own good. I love it!
Um...just have to let you know that I'm in LOVE with your regift strategy. I am definately trying this for birthdays this year...do you think my husband will fall for it?
So maybe our parents were right to automatically assume we are the culprits to everything... very interesting.
Mystery solved. Kids do the darnest things. My daughter used to sneakly take the Gerber baby cereal and pour it in the toilet, just to see it sponge up.
Nina :)
