notes...a lost art

Notes are a lost art. With some of the modern day conveniences (texting), a few beautiful things are getting lost along the way. So sad.
I stumbled upon this cute note the other day from my BFF Susan. I love how it is precisely folded, and includes an arrow to show me how to make it function. It was so much fun to exchange them in the hall, or while the teacher's back was turned. Even better to get to the content, and re-read it over and over. I miss them.

Oh how I wish I could remember what the "big news" was that she is referring to.

That just completely made my day. I remember sitting at lunch with my friends practicing different ways to fold the notes. Thank you.

What a treasure of a find. All I can remember from the 5th grade was writing notes...to several friends...one who past away the next year...I miss him. Sweet memories. I too am curious about the good news! lol! luvs, katrina
