the real deal

Meet Harry & Sylvia

They own this yummy spot
Molca Salsa
in slc
2900 E. 3300 S.

They had all of us over for dinner last Sunday night,
and it was the real deal.
From scratch.
Spicy hot.
Made with love.
Mexican food.
Right out of Sylvia's own kitchen.

Our crew, JP, their daughter & grand-daughter

When I heard about the invite I knew we were in for a treat, but I did not fully comprehend. Unfortunately, there was a point when I became full. Why must this happen? It is hard to even think about. As I reminisce back to that space in time I am totally regretting it! Currently wishing I was sitting at Sylvia's table right now, forcing myself to eat more.

Loved getting to know this family better. It was a beautiful night.

There are very few things better than a good salsa. However, one additional good thing would include a tasty peach cobbler. With ice cream.

(Thanks for watching my boy).

Wow, that sounds very delicious! Mmmm I remember the sweet members in Portugal used to cook these amazing meals for us sisters. The only bad part was that they always wanted us to eat as much as the elders. So we would leave for our appointments sooo stuffed. Yet hours later we were dreaming of their delicious food. I know how ya feel ;)

Yum... I love good authentic Mexican food! The only thing I can't eat is chicken enchiladas. When I was in Costa Rica I thought I was eating chicken enchiladas but it turned out to be iguana. I'll have to tell you about that one some time...
