Deal Or No Deal Casting Call!

Today I woke up 5:30am, drove to SLC and got in line at 6:45am for the Deal or No Deal casting call! It was so much fun! After waiting in line 4 1/2 hrs it was my turn. There were groups of 10 people standing around a table being interviewed very quickly by one person. Each person had 20 seconds to tell all about them, then of the 10 people, 3 were picked to continue on. I was one of the 3 picked! Then they put you with 10 more people from the other tables, and pick only 3 people. Again, I was one of the 3 picked! Then just those 3 people were interviewed and 2 were picked from that group. I was one of the 2 picked! It was down to me and this other guy, and they picked him to continue on (he has another interview with his family on Tuesday). He truly does have an amazing story, and I think he will make all the interviews and definitely be on the show. I truly am so excited for him...just wish he would have been in a different group to be interviewed. Essentially, I made 3 out of 4 cuts. I was so close!!!
Though I didn't make the final cut, I am not giving up hope. They still have my application and took notes on the back of it. They say it is possible to still be contacted, and it sometimes takes up to a year. Wishful thinking...maybe, but I will keep on wishing. I went alone, but made some friends along the way. The bottom picture is of me, Casey (who is continuing on), and Ashlee. We were the 3 picked out of 20 people. I am so glad that I met them, it truly was a fun experience!
